I was raised in Topeka, Kansas and continue to live there today. I have six siblings who inspire me and a growing number of nieces and nephews whom I enjoy. I have many interests and sometimes find it overwhelming to juggle them all. I play the hammered dulcimer. I own a horse. I draw and paint and write books. I enjoy people and travel and have been blessed with good friends across the nation and around the world. I am amazed over and over again by the goodness of God in my life and am thankful for His desire to have me in His family.
You may notice after a closer examination of this site that books seem to be an important part of my life. Over all my other interests, writing has had a central place in my life. I write books partly because I enjoy the adventure of discovering characters and their stories and partly because it seems to me a good way to think out or describe what is true. I have a lot to learn in this journey, but I hope that some of my thoughts inspire people to love better, live better, or think more clearly.
